Hello, we are Slava and Klaus.

We found our dream house near Rovinj in 2019 and have been working ever since to make it our personal favourite place. As you can easily see in the photos below, a lot of energy, passion and sweat have already gone into it.

Our love for the region of Istria and its culture, people, cuisine and nature has motivated us to share our passion with other people. That is why we would like to invite you to visit our little holiday home ‘Bella di Campo’.

Our history
When we first saw 'Bella di Campo' in 2019, the property was still largely untouched. The grass was high and a narrow, unkempt path ran between the two houses. The atmosphere was one of tranquillity, punctuated only by the sounds of the neighbourhood. Even then, we had a vision of developing this place into a place of relaxation and well-being.

But between that vision and the reality of today's Bella di Campo lies an intense period of planning, renovation and careful design. Where nature once reigned, we have created paths, planted olive trees and modernised the architecture of the houses with great attention to detail and respect for the original landscape, without losing the charm of the original. Every stone that has been moved, every plant that has been planted, has been part of a larger plan to preserve the harmony between nature and comfort.

Today Bella di Campo is more than just a holiday resort. It is a retreat that combines the original closeness to nature with modern comforts. The wild grasses have given way to manicured paths and gardens, and the two houses have been restored to their former glory, inviting you to relax in their bright, open spaces. Despite these changes, the spirit of the original 'Bella di Campo' remains - a place of tranquillity, surrounded by unspoilt nature that retains its space.
